The Creation of this Course

We founded the Healing Our Core Issues (HOCI) Institute with a mission to teach our colleagues an effective, intuitive methodology for addressing trauma. For years, we have led in-person and online workshops where we share the HOCI model – a methodology rooted in the fundamental processes of Developmental and Relational Trauma treatment. Now we are sharing those tools with you.

During this five-hour introductory course, you will become familiar with the three major processes of DART treatment: Getting Your Story Straight, Re-Parenting Your Historical Selves, and Standing in Your Truth. You will watch three, hour-long client case videos, supplemented by in-depth narration on procedures, while following along with custom worksheets and glossaries.
